Bistro Beanies Now Available!
Bistro on Bridge always had a number of Hats in stock, and in addition to that collection, we now offer a Brand New Waffle Beanie. Just in time for the cold months ahead & the Holiday Season!
Over the Summer, our staff took an online survey. One of the questions we asked was, “what kind of merchandise would you like to see Bistro on Bridge carry in stock?” And a number of our Teammates suggested, “BEANIES”.
We recently had some hoodies made. Why not pair them with some snug head gear? Our team went ahead & scouted the perfect style that would keep one both warm & fashionable. They finally arrived, and judging by the photo, we couldn’t agree more!
But what is it that makes a Beanie so unique?
Why a Beanie over a hat? Glad you asked! We found some fun facts you may not have known & we’d love to share them with you!
- First, it’s illegal to dance in Beanies in Fargo. Unbelievable, right? Truth be told, you need to remove it if your plans include dancing in Fargo, North Dakota. It is illegal to dance while sporting headgear, and you will risk criminal charges! Doesn’t end there though. More bizarre laws can be found here.
- Beanies were common attire amongst outdoor workers to shield them from dust, dirt, grease, dangerous objects, and cold wind.
- In the 90s, Beanies were trendy among celebrities, especially music artists such as hip-hop rappers and rockstars.
- In addition to popstars, skaters also embraced the look as well. You most likely associate skaters with Vans & a Graphic T, but you’ll be surprised to discover you can add a Beanie to that list.
There’s more facts out if you perform an online search, but those are by far, some of the most interesting. Who knew a Beanie could ever get someone in trouble, let alone, a criminal charge?
