Back in October of 2013, a bunch of us flew out to Colorado to check out the Great American Beer Festival, as well as some of the best Craft Breweries that have yet to make it to our area. At the time, this included New Belgium Brewing Company, which we very well know has been in the PA Market for a few years now.
On one of our final days, we were instructed by locals to check out a brewery called Crooked Stave. They were located in the back of a Food Market, which was something that wasn’t very common to us. We ventured towards the back where we saw the bar, taps and merch the brewery had to offer. We didn’t know what to expect, buuuut….
….everything we tried was amazing! These were styles we hadn’t tried much of back then that included IPAs and Saisons that utilized brettanomyces into the brewing process. Everything was very impressive. It was just unfortunate that we couldn’t get these brews back home.
We are so excited to get a hold of these beers that we couldn’t wait to get them all on tap and stocked in our fridge. So to celebrate, Friday, November 9th, we are hosting a Crooked Stave Artisan Tap & Can Takeover. Beer will be flowing from the Artisnal Brewery downstairs and cans will be stocked in our fridge in the Analog Room upstairs.
Check out the event on Facebook for more details and we’ll see you Friday to enjoy a taste of nostalgia wiht us,
